Dear

 Although
Satek Winery has been
participating since 2003,
this year will mark my first
time going to
Vintage Indiana Wine & Food
Festival, to be
held June 5th
in Military Park in
downtown Indianapolis. An
award-winning festival
promoting Indiana wine and
food, this all-day
event brings together 26
Indiana wineries to sample
and sell their wines to the
thousands of festivalgoers
who attend every year. I
will be going not as an
attendee, but instead to
work our Satek Winery booth,
and I've been told (or
warned) by my fellow
staffers that its a "right
of passage" to work Vintage
at least once. I've also
been told that, if you love
wine, its an event not to
miss. If you plan to go, be
sure to stop by our tent and

this Memorial

Girls Night Out
series continues
this summer
|
|
If you haven't made
it out for one of
our W.I.N.O.S.
events yet, you have
four more chances to
indulge your need
for shopping, food,
socializing, and
wine! "Women In
Need Of Shopping"-
as we have
affectionately
dubbed our monthly
Girls Night Out,
will continue
through September.
Upcoming dates are
June 20th, July
15th, August 19th,
and September 2nd.
Tickets are $9.00
each, and includes
catered hors
d'ourves, wine
tasting, and
shopping in our
Merchant Marketplace
(vendors change
monthly so its
always new and
fun). Reservations
are required and
tickets can be
ordered online or by
calling the winery.

special events to
entice you to come
out a join the fun.
June 19: 10
a.m.-5 p.m.
Art Show:Outdoor
fair where regional
artists
exhibit their work
for viewing and
sale. A variety of
art mediums will be
represented,
including ceramics
and pottery, glass,
wood turnings,
photography, acrylic
painting, metalwork,
stoneware,
jewelrymaking, and
more. Free
admission, all ages
welcome.
July 1-11:
10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Satek's 9th
Anniversary
Celebration:
Receive a free
anniversary logo
stemless red wine
glass with every two
bottles of wine
purchased, while
supplies last.
July 17th:
10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Boat Show:
Area marinas display
the latest in boats
and watercrafts for
this year's summer
lake season. Free

New painted wine
glasses for Summer
  In
addition to our
best-selling
"grapes" painted
wine glasses, we are
adding two new
designs to our gift
shop offerings for
summer. Created by
local artist Tarma
VanAken, one design
is painted with
whimsical fish and
seaweed around the
glass bowl and base,
in four different
shades of watery
blues. The other
designs features fun
flip flops in four
different bright
colors including hot
pink, lime green,
turquoise, and
purple. Both new
patterns are
available in glass
or our new
unbreakable
polycarbonate (great
for the boat or on
the dock). Glasses
are sold
individually for
$8.99 each. These
are selling as fast
as Tarma can paint
them, so we
recommend placing an
order ahead of time
before you stop in
to be sure we aren't
