Restaurant news: Phoenix restaurant ready to rise along Broadway

Satek wines win several awards. Satek Winery in Fremont was awarded two trophies and 22 medals, including three Double Gold Medals, in the Indy International Wine Competition held recently at Purdue University in West Lafayette. Satek received a trophy for Indiana-Grown, French-America Wine of the Year for its Larry’s Luscious Dry Red, 2012, and for the Indiana-Grown, American Wine of the Year for its Steuben, 2012. Satek also took home three Double Gold Medals for its Steuben, 2012; Larry’s Luscious, 2012; and Kreibaum Bay Cabernet Reserve, 2010. A Double Gold Medal is awarded when the entire judging panel unanimously awards a wine a Gold Medal. Satek also won 19 other medals for its wines. Satek offers free tasting.
